At Ahmad Izz, we respect your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use and protect it, when we share it with third parties, and what rights you have over it.

Information we collect

We only collect the data we need to provide our service:

1. Account information: name, phone number, and password (stored encrypted — no one can read it back).
2. Delivery addresses: full name, phone number, city, area, and detailed street address.
3. Order information: products ordered, order history, and order status.
4. Reviews: review text, star rating, and any photos you attach.
5. Support messages: the content of your conversations with our customer care team.
6. Your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter.
7. Limited technical data such as IP address and browser type, used for security and abuse prevention (for example, rate-limiting repeated login attempts).

How we use your data

We use your data to fulfill and deliver your orders, manage your account, respond to your questions, process returns, send order updates, send offers to newsletter subscribers (you can unsubscribe by contacting us), improve our services, and protect the platform against fraud and abuse.

Cookies & local storage

We use an essential cookie to keep you securely signed in. Your browser also temporarily stores your cart and wishlist on your device if you haven't signed in yet; this data is never shared with anyone else. We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

Sharing data with third parties

We never sell your data. We share only the minimum data necessary with:

1. Delivery partners: your name, phone number, and address, so they can deliver your order.
2. Technical service providers who run our infrastructure or send WhatsApp messages or email on our behalf, bound to use your data only for that purpose.
3. Authorities, if required to do so under Jordanian law.

We only accept cash on delivery, so we never collect or store card payment details, and never share them with any payment processor.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active, and afterward for as long as needed to meet accounting, tax, and other legal obligations. When you request account deletion, we delete or anonymize your personal data except what we're legally required to retain (such as records of completed orders).

Your rights

You can access and update your data at any time from My account. You may also request a copy of your data, request deletion of your account and data, or unsubscribe from the newsletter, by contacting us through the support page.

Data security

We use reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted passwords and session tokens. That said, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The last-updated date will be shown on this page.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
